Monitoring over IP for industrial applications. 44 probes, RS-485, 1000 m, Web interface, E-mail, SNMP, SMS (with a GSM modem).
The Poseidon 1250 supports up to 44 probes, maximum distance 1000 m. It is possible to use low-cost probes for IT environment, as well as precise platinum temperature probes (Pt100) or industrial sensors (4..20mA / 0..10V interface) connected over RS-485.
The Poseidon captures the values from all connected sensors. Users can access the values with a web browser via the built-in web server, or using M2M protocols over IP.
When the specified thresholds for individual sensors are exceeded, alerts are sent and suitable actions can be triggered (turn on a fan, sound a horn, ...). The unit has a durable metal case.
Typical applications are storage monitoring or freezer monitoring. The Poseidon 1250 measures temperature and humidity and monitors freezer doors in a warehouse or a supermarket. The RS-485 probes are daisy-chained for easier installation and lower costs.
